Banneker Cabin
Baltimore County, MD
The Banneker Cabin no longer existed, but was designed based upon unearthed artifacts. Benjamin Banneker was a free black man in the early 1700’s, and an author, astronomer, and inventor. Baltimore County and the Friends of Benjamin Banneker Society celebrated his life and contributions by rebuilding his 14’x16’ home as a museum exhibit.
