Built in 1866, the original stone masonry church was in need of interior improvements and enhancements. Re-plastering and painting were needed throughout, particularly in the ceiling due to deflection. Pews, kneelers, six stained glass windows, lighting, and painted flooring required repair, restoration and / or replacement. Architectural modifications included the inclusion of a restroom and changes to the existing balcony to remove obstruction from two stained glass windows.
