Client Survey Report

Understanding our past gives us direction for the future. Historic buildings help us know the life styles, social activities, and culture of our community’s ancestors. In documenting, renovating, and preserving these structures, we also know the construction methods, tools, materials, and craftsmanship techniques used. At Rubeling & Associates, it is our honor to preserve the past and, in so doing, design for the future.

Brown Memorial ChurchBaltimore, MD
Rubeling & Associates provided interior renovation services to this 400-seat, circa late 1800's church. Renovations included converting the north transept into a columbarium and the south transept into a labyrinth. Colors for pew cushions, carpet, and cork flooring were coordinated with the church’s stained glass — the largest collection of Tiffany glass in Baltimore. Removal of pews at the rear of the sanctuary allowed for a gathering space.
