St. Mary’s University Borders Learning Center Emmitsburg, MD Rubeling & Associates designed the gut and complete renovation of this 12,000sf, two story stone building dating back to the 1880s. Programming and space planning opened up the building’s “rabbit burrow” of offices and hallways, while lighting, color and finishes added energy to this once dark, now active, student facility.
